Lindsay Bonilla

Lindsay Bonilla is a professional storyteller and children’s book author from North Canton, Ohio. While earning her Bachelor’s degree in theatre and religion at Northwestern University, she fell in love with folktales and world travel and has been performing interactive theatre, sharing stories and teaching workshops all over the world ever since. Her picture book, POLAR BEAR ISLAND, which celebrates inclusivity and diversity, was the winner of a 2018 Parents’ Choice Award. Her latest book, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEARTS, was featured in The Wall Street Journal. She has four other titles coming from Nancy Paulsen/Penguin, Page Street Kids and Holiday House. Lindsay has visited 28 countries on 5 different continents, but usually you can find her at home with her wildly creative kids and husband who give her loads of inspiration for her stories, but limited time to write them.
