Gloria G. Adams
Gloria G. Adams grew up in a small town in Ohio just a couple of blocks from Lake Erie. The only way to reach the public library, one of her favorite places, was through a dark, damp tunnel that ran underneath the main road. She went there all the time and probably read almost every book they had. That should have been her clue that she would grow up to become a librarian.
Being a librarian was one of the best jobs in the world and taught her how important it is to help kids become good readers. Most of the books she writes for children have elements that strengthen reading skills. She has dreamed of becoming a published writer since she was very young and feels blessed to have had that dream come true.
