The Hiding Place (Abridged / Paperback)

Staff Reviews
The Ten Boom family were a Dutch Christian family who aided Jewish people during the Holocaust. They felt it was their duty to aid and at one point even had a hidden room built into their family home, which was above the family clock repair shop. The title refers to both the physical hiding place where the Ten Boom family hid Jews from the Nazis and also to the Scriptural message found in Psalm 119:114: "Thou art my hiding place and my shield...." While many of their family were captured or killed by the Nazis, all of the Jews they helped made it through the war. A beautiful story of faith, compassion, duty, and strength.
