Our music buyer listens to hundreds of compact discs each month before deciding which albums our store will feature for in-store play on any of our 19 sound systems. Years ago, we made a marvelous discovery: California-based musician Steve Hall. This one-time banker had won us and our customers over with his album, On Eagle's Wings.

What struck us immediately about Steve's Music was something so often missing from music today: a beautiful, clear melody. Here were arrangements of songs so pure, it was like a walk in a favorite garden after a gentle spring rain. Familiar, yet new again.

Now, Steve has a whole collection of albums, each with his own distinctive interpretation of some of the best-loved music ever.
